New Yorkers were left in awe this afternoon as the city’s favorite web-slinger, Spider-Man, took down a gang of armed robbers in a dramatic showdown on 42nd Street. The masked hero’s lightning-fast reflexes and signature webbing turned what could have been a dangerous heist into a spectacle for onlookers near Grand Central Terminal.
Eyewitnesses report that at approximately 2:15 PM, three masked individuals burst into Midtown Jewelers, demanding cash and valuables. Just as panic set in, Spider-Man descended from above, quipping, “Looks like you guys picked the wrong day to sparkle!” before incapacitating the robbers with a flurry of web-based acrobatics.
